Hein Stroeve (1965) has been a lawyer since 1991. He has specialized in real estate, construction law and project development. In 2019, Hein joined Severijn Hulshof’s specialist practice.

As a real estate partner of a medium-sized law firm, Hein has gained extensive experience over the past decades as a recognized specialist, leading to high-quality and tailor-made legal advice in complex cases.

In addition to general real estate (transactions, property law, tenancy, etc.), his work focuses mainly on construction law, architectural law and project development. Hein is involved in large projects from various angles: municipalities, investors, developers, contractors, architects and other consultants. He is familiar with the most important general terms and conditions used in the construction industry. Half of Hein’s practice consists of advisory work (negotiations, structuring property law deals, construction and consultancy contracts, anterior agreements) and the other half of litigation (court dispute resolution and arbitration).

Hein also has professional experience in geothermal and biomass projects and in industrial contracting (including demolition).

Hein has an eye for clients, details and opportunities and is result-orientated. He enjoys complex projects and is enthusiastic, open and direct, all of that with a good dose of humor. Risk management is paramount: avoiding conflict if possible but a pitbull if necessary.

He has been a member of the Construction Lawyers Association since 1997 and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 2015.
